With over 10 years of experience in education, Mitch Synnott is a dedicated educator committed to improving student achievement and empowering educators. Throughout her career at Real Journey Academies (RJA), she has served in a variety of educator leadership roles to support school operations, instructional leadership, and campus-wide initiatives. Her passion for building teacher capacity and strengthening instructional practices has led her to her current role as Elementary Math Specialist, where she partners with educators to implement high-quality mathematics instruction, analyze student data, and develop systems that promote academic growth for all learners. Mitch is known for her collaborative leadership style, commitment to continuous improvement, and belief that every student can succeed when provided with rigorous instruction and meaningful support.Mitch has earned her Master's degree in Education Technology and Instruction and is currently pursuing a second master's degree in Educational Administration while completing her Administrative Services Credential. She believes that effective leadership is rooted in lifelong learning and strives to model that philosophy in both her professional and personal life. Outside of education, she enjoys spending time riding her motorcycle and turning to music as a form of self-care and creative expression. Whether leading professional learning, supporting school leaders, or working directly with teachers, she is passionate about creating positive learning environments where both students and educators can thrive.
