This session introduces eKnowledge Enhancement teachers to the purpose and structure of the block model at Real Journey Academies.
Objectives include understanding how the block schedule supports targeted instruction, exploring the core components of the eKnowledge framework, and learning how data talk protocols create a culture of goal-setting and reflection. Teachers will engage with key routines that reinforce eSkills such as analyzing text and data, writing, and providing feedback—while seeing how small-group structures and formative assessments support personalized learning.
Key Learning:
Data use and personalization are system-level strategies that influence school-wide practices and future-focused instructional design.
Takeaway for Activation & Next Steps: Teachers will leave with a clear understanding of how to launch their eKnowledge block, apply foundational instructional routines, and begin using assessment snapshots to guide meaningful data conversations with students.
